Condition grading
Secondhand means lived in. Rather than hide that, we grade every piece against the same three tiers and photograph anything worth knowing about. If a flaw isn't listed, it isn't there.
No notable flaws
Excellent / Very Good
Little to no visible wear. Colour is strong, no holes, stains or repairs. Either deadstock or worn only a handful of times.
Honest, light wear
Good
Worn but sound. May show gentle fading, light pilling or faint marks that are typical of the era. Anything noticeable is photographed and listed.
Holes & damages, fully shown
Fair / Vintage
True vintage character: holes and damages, thinning fabric, heavy fading, stains or old repairs. Every hole and every mark is photographed close-up and written out in the listing, and the piece is priced accordingly.
Our condition guarantee
If a piece arrives with a flaw we failed to disclose, we'll refund the item in full including return postage. Grading is judgement, and if we get it wrong, that's on us.
