Size guide

A 90s Carhartt L is not a modern L. That's why every listing carries real garment measurements taken flat — compare those against a piece you already own and love rather than relying on the label.

How we measure

  • Pit to pit — armpit seam to armpit seam, laid flat. Double it for full chest.
  • Length — highest point of the shoulder / collar seam straight down to the hem.
  • Sleeve — shoulder seam to cuff edge (raglan measured from the collar).
  • Waist — flat across the waistband, then doubled for full circumference.
  • Inseam — crotch seam to hem along the inside leg.
  • Leg / hem opening — flat across the bottom of the leg.

Vintage denim often runs 1–2 inches small once shrunk. If you're between sizes on a workwear piece, size up — they were cut to layer.
